Established in 2010, Care Bear Childcare in Chertsey offers full and part-time daycare from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, in a home-from-home environment for children aged 0 to 8 years. Our DBS-checked and fully-trained staff also provides early starts from 7.30 am and late finishes up to 6.30 pm. Ad hoc sessions are available on a pay-as-you-go basis, subject to availability, with a 48-hour notice required for cancellations to avoid charges. We proudly offer early years funding entitlement, with children becoming eligible for age-specific funding in the term following their relevant birthday. Our childcare setting features a variety of rooms and areas for children to explore, including a sensory room, an arts and crafts room, and a large garden with a mud kitchen. Daily planned and child-led activities are based on the EYFS framework to ensure comprehensive learning. Through the EYLOG app, parents receive weekly observations, termly reports, and daily logs, with opportunities to discuss and set individual next steps each term. Our dedicated team is fully qualified or working towards their qualifications, undergoing monthly training refreshers, enhanced DBS checks, and OFSTED suitability checks. We also provide home-cooked meals by our on-site chef, Mandy, the owner's mum, with menus adaptable for allergens and cultural preferences. Contact us today for reliable, safe and friendly services.
