Registered childminders and nursery staff at Care Bear Childcare

All staff at Care Bears are fully CRB and social services checked. They all hold a current first aid certificate and they are also qualified or working towards a qualification.

Meet the team

Charlene - Practice Manager

Charlene is the manager/owner of Care Bear Childcare which has been running now for just over four years since May 2009. She has built the business up and even moved into a bigger house to provide a more spacious and fun environment for the children. She is level 3 qualified working towards her level 4 management due to finish in December 2013. She has worked with children since leaving school from a nursery nurse to an afterschool club, to being a nanny and now set up her own dream setting she has always wanted. She is a fun loving person and very confident in what she does which makes the parents and children in her care feel at ease.


Jess - Apprentice

Jess is an apprentice at Care Bear Childcare and has a NVQ level 2 qualification in childcare going onto her level 3 in October 2013. She has worked at Care Bears for just over a year now and has come along so much, she is really good at thinking of and planning fun and educational activities for the children to do, she is very creative. She has also built up a brilliant relationship with the children and parents.




Paige - Apprentice

Paige is going to be joining us at Care Bears in September 2013 as an apprentice/assistant. She has already completed a cache level 2 in babysitting and a cache level 1 in childcare development at Brooklands College. Her experience should help her to settle in well and we look forward to her joining the team.





Amanda - Volunteer

Amanda is a volunteer at Care Bears and has helped out for a few years now, she is a very fun loving lady and all the children and the parents love her. The children even call her nanny, they also love her home cooked meals and puddings she makes for them.
